Sputnik Children's Health Camp holds a competition of environmental projects "WE!: The Green Planet". Support for the competition is provided by the Chernoluchye Administration, Omsk regional branch of the Russian Environmental Movement. The purpose of the competition is to foster a caring attitude to nature, the formation of an ecological culture of the younger generation, an active citizenship to preserve the environment and human health, and the involvement of children and youth in environmental activities. Omsky Biocluster has become the title partner of the eco-contest.

Igor Popov, Deputy of the Legislative Assembly of the Omsk region:

"This is our joint pilot project on the environmental education of kids. The idea was born out of the results of my deputy meetings with voters, this, we can say, is our joint initiative. The competition will feature videos on the organization of ecological space by kids at home. I invite everyone to participate!"

The press release of the Russian Environmental Movement (Omsk regional Branch) notes: "Environmental education begins from an early age, when children learn to treat nature as their home. We all want to live in a city, in a country that is comfortable for each of us. Everyone can contribute to reducing the burden on the environment."

Organizers invite kids from 7 to 17 years to participate. Applications are accepted from June 8 to June 21, 2020. Evaluation of received projects is carried out from June 22 to June 26, 2020. Information about the time and place of summing up the results of the competition is available on the Sputnik website https://sputnikomsk.ru.
