The volume of exports of Russian agricultural machinery abroad will grow from 7.3b RUR ($ 117.35m) in 2017 to 10b RUR ($ 160.76m) in 2018, said on Wednesday Director of the Department of Agricultural, Food and Construction Machinery of the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade Evgeny Korchevoi in the Yekaterinburg Innoprom 2018 lobby.
"We have a significant increase in exports, this year we will reach 10b RUR ($ 160.76m), we are talking about more than 30 countries of the world. Now the supplies to the European Union - Germany, France, Great Britain, Poland, Hungary - are growing. The volume of supplies to China is also increasing yearly," Korchevoi said.
According to him, in 2018 Russian producers of agricultural machinery entered new markets for products - this is Australia and South Africa. "This year we came to these markets for the first time, the first sales have already started, contracts with dealers have been signed there, and the equipment is diverse, for example, innovative separators, grain harvesters, energy-saturated tractors and other products. This is already a fact of supply, and the task in these markets is to increase the volume of supplies; increase the number of countries on average from 30 to 65 by 2025," Korchevoi added.
