The first batches of new Omsk potatoes were tested

Specialists of the Laboratory of Quarantine Phytosanitary Examinations and Surveys of Omsk Reference Center of Rosselkhoznadzor (member of Omsky Biocluster) analyzed the first batches of Omsk potatoes in the amount of 130 tons, intended for export.

The studies were carried out using a modern method of laboratory diagnosis based on a polymerase chain reaction in real time. The causative agent of brown bacterial potato rot was not detected. Accordingly, these batches of potatoes are safe and can be sent to the recipient's region.
