On October 3-4, Omsky Biocluster at the invitation of the Trade Exchange Development Department of the Embassy of Italy (ICE Italy, Moscow Branch) will take part in the IFIB-2019 (International Forum on Industrial Biotechnology and Bioeconomy). IFIB is confirmed as one of the leading events for the circular bioeconomy. The Naples edition will see the presence of some of the most important players at global level and will be the occasion to discuss value chains, education, the role of regions and cities in specific round tables.

In the frame of IFIB 2019, SI Impresa, together with InnovhubSSI and the Enteprise Europe Network, organizes the IFIB PARTNERING EVENT. Very high relevant speakers such as Jennifer Holmgren at Lanzatech, Hugo Vuurens at Total Corbion, Daniel MacEachran at Braskem, Marc Palahi at EFI, Jim Philp at the OECD and Julius Ecuru at the BioInnovate Africa Program have already confirmed their presence. Last year edition saw the participation of 100 companies and research centres coming from 16 different countries.

Pier Paolo Celeste, Director of Italian Trade Agency (ICE) - Moscow Office, Coordinator Russian Federation, Byelorussia and Armenia:

"ICE Italy actively promotes the communications of Italian and Russian business. At the BIAT Forum in Bari, held in April, Omsky Biocluster presented the opportunities for Italian startups and businesses to participate in the cluster's technological chains. I hope that within IFIB 2019, the dialogue between Omsky Biocluster and the Italian party will continue, and the forum will serve to strengthen Italian-Russian business ties."
