In November, the Laboratory of Quality and Safety of Products of Animal and Vegetable Origin, Feed and Environmental Objects of the Omsk Reference Center of the Rosselkhoznadzor (member of Omsky Biocluster) received 410 samples, with which 3,560 tests were conducted. As a result, 23 samples were positive.
Discrepancies in fatty acid composition and non-fatty impurities were detected in two samples of vegetable oil. Three samples of cheese contained sterols. An underestimation of the mass fraction of fat was found in two samples of butter and one sample of cottage cheese. Another sample of butter is not conforming to the standards for fatty acid composition. 14 seed samples did not meet the regulatory documentation, of which: two samples of sunflower in terms of indicators of the mass fraction of moisture, oil and weed impurities; six wheat samples for humidity; two samples of rapeseed moisture, weed impurities; four barley samples were not satisfactory in terms of organoleptic characteristics and humidity.
