In November, the number of pigs in China increased by 2% compared with October. It is noted that this indicator is the highest growth rate for the whole year. Livestock growth is associated with a 4% increase in sows in October. In the summer of 2018, China swept through the ASF epidemic. As a result, the number of pigs in the country according to official figures decreased by 41%, according to unofficial figures - by 175 million heads year over year.
