The Expert Veterinary Laboratory of the Omsk Reference Center of the Rosselkhoznadzor (Omsky Biocluster member) received 30 samples of washes from technological equipment as part of the production control of enterprises.
The samples were examined for microbiological parameters (total microbial count, the presence of E. coli bacteria, Salmonella, Listeria). Four samples of washings contained an increased total microbial count. The presence of E. coli bacteria was detected in one washout sample. The revealed facts do not meet the requirements of 'Instructions on the Order and Frequency of Control over the Content of Microbiological and Chemical Pollutants in Meat, Poultry, Eggs and their Processed Products) No. 1400/1751'.
