The next district stage of the contest for the best in the profession among operators for artificial insemination started in Novosibirsk region. This year, the Ministry of Agriculture of the region decided, in addition to the individual competition, to conduct a team test in the districts. Therefore, each district will send three people to the regional competition. The winner in Novosibirsk region will be determined by the sum of points on the basis of the performance of the competitive tasks. And the winner in personal competition will go to the All-Russian competition to play for Novosibirsk region.
Therefore, the most responsible specialists of the district agricultural departments - Suzunsky and Karasuksky districts - decided to conduct classes in preparation for the theoretical and practical stages. For these purposes, specialists from the Novosibirsk Regional Information and Breeding Center (RISC) of IC SIBAGROCOMPLEX LLC were invited.
Imeni Kirova JSC became the place of training in Suzunsky district, and Agrofirma Novaya Semya JSC - in Karasuksky district. Tatyana Evtushenko, the head of the advanced training project, recalled the requirements of the main normative document approving the rules for the work on artificial insemination of animals, the rules for working in the laboratory, conducting transrectal examination and insemination of cows according to the methodology adopted in evaluating the work of reproduction operators at regional and all-Russian competitions, and also checked the level of competencies of farm specialists. A master class on the rectal-apparatus method for determining pregnancy and reproductive pathologies was also held. Irina Yushkova, head of the Information and Analytical Department of RISC, told the senior livestock experts and breeders about the basic principles of breeding, modern methods for assessing breeding characteristics and the use of information systems. These practice-oriented seminars are held within the Interregional Center for Agro Industry Engineering, co-founded by IC SIBAGROCOMPLEX LLC.
Experts from the neighboring Bagansky district, where the district stage was held earlier, came to the Chernokurya classes, but the winners from Severo-Kulundinskoye JSC and Vozensenskoe JSC decided to do the training before the regional competition.
