The regional stage of the All-Russian competition 'AgroNTI' was held in Omsk State Agrarian University (Omsky Biocluster member). It was attended by Omsk rural pupils of the 5-10th grades. Participants of the competition presented unmanned aerial vehicles for solving problems in agriculture, showed the work of quadrocopters. Agro-robots, driven by students, overcame obstacles, collected hay, planted potatoes and much more.
The All-Russian competition among students of rural educational institutions 'AgroNTI' is organized by the Foundation for Assistance to Small Innovative Enterprises in Science and Technology together with the non-profit Association of Educational Institutions of Agroindustry and Fisheries with the support of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation.
The purpose of the competition is to familiarize and involve students from rural areas and small towns in work on the technological priorities of the National Technological Initiative (NTI), including the use of digital technologies in agriculture, the tasks of robotization of the agroindustry and the use of drones in agriculture.
