Primorsky Territory: New ASF outbreak

Rosselkhoznadzor experts have identified a new outbreak of African swine fever virus (ASF) in Primorye.

It is clarified that the virus was detected in samples of pathological material from a pig from a local resident's household, as well as the remains of wild boars found. It is planned to implement restrictive measures that impede the spread of ASF.

According to the Rosselkhoznadzor, a total of 21 outbreaks of African swine fever virus were recorded in Primorsky Territory. The first foci of this disease in Primorye were discovered in the summer.
