UGC started paying of grain planned for export from Siberia

United Grain Company JSC started paying the grain planned for export from the elevators of the Novosibirsk and Omsk regions, the press service of the company reported December 12.

 

"Settlements with agricultural producers were made at a price of 6,300 rubles per ton ($ 106.42) without VAT, which is in line with the recommendations of the Ministry of Agriculture of Russia as part of the fulfillment of instructions of the Operational Headquarters for regulating the grain market of the Russian Federation," the report says.

 

In mid-November, the United Grain Company announced plans to purchase up to 250,000 tons of 4th grade wheat in the Siberian Federal District with its subsequent export through the port of Novorossiysk. The purchase price of grain was announced at the level of 6200 rubles per ton ($ 104.73).
