The duty on the export of grain from the Russian Federation may come into force on February 15 and amount to RUR 2,000 per ton. It is this figure that is being discussed in the trading community. The duty may come into effect at the same time as the export quota.
Earlier it became known that the Ministry of Agriculture of Russia and the Ministry of Economic Development of Russia are developing a decree providing for the introduction of duties on the export of wheat from Russia. In addition, the Minister of Agriculture of Russia Dmitry Patrushev said that the Ministry of Agriculture is developing a set of solutions that will quickly stabilize the situation with prices for the main socially significant products, proposals will be presented on December 14.
