Omsky Biocluster held classes on artificial insemination of cattle

February 14, the second stage of theoretical training for artificial insemination operators was held. The event was held in the classroom of SIBAGROCOMPLEX Group (member of Omsky Biocluster) for specialists of enterprises of Omsk region, involved in the implementation of the Effective Livestock Program (Sibiryak Company of Moskalensky district, Omskoye FSUE of Omsk district and Kutuzovskoye JSC of Sherbakulsky district).

Classes were held under the 'Technological Aspects of Conducting Artificial Insemination of Cattle Program'. The main emphasis was placed on the physiology of reproduction and pathological processes in the reproductive system of animals. These issues have a very significant impact on the performance of the inseminator and the level of reproduction of the herd.

The second half of the seminar was devoted to work in the laboratory - working with equipment, the features of defrosting the seed, frozen in granules and straws of Russian and foreign producers. The third, practical part of the training will take place directly in the farms in real workplaces and involves mastering the skills of transrectal examination, ultrasound scanning, rectocervical insemination.

Thus, the most complete effect of training is achieved, when theoretical knowledge gives an understanding of processes, and practice helps confidently apply knowledge.
