The Russian government approved the extension of the state program for the development of agriculture and regulation of the markets for agricultural products, raw materials and food until 2025. The resolution says that in 2021-2025 the amount of funding for the state program will be 4.2 trillion RUR ($ 63.02 billion).
In addition, a significant increase is observed in the financing of events in 2019, from 297 billion RUR up to 793 billion RUR ($ 4.46 - 11.9 million). It is noted that in 2020 the government will spend 742 billion RUR ($ 11.13 million) on the agricultural sector, while 293 billion RUR ($ 4.4 million) were allocated in the previous version of the state program. Also, the overall budget of the program has quadrupled - from 2.2 trillion RUR up to 8.2 trillion RUR ($ 33.01 - 123.03 billion).
