Poland confirmed ASF outbreak

Poland confirms the first outbreak of African swine fever (ASF) in domestic pigs in 2019. The disease was detected in a pig farm in Warmia and Masuria province.

 

The ASF presence was found on a farm with 67 pigs located in Gołdap commune (Warmia and Masuria province). The farm is located in the restricted area. Last year, 109 outbreaks of ASFs in domestic pigs were confirmed in the country.
