OmSAU held a seminar on the effectiveness of milking equipment

March 13, Omsk State Agrarian University (member of Omsky Biocluster) has become a venue for a training seminar for managers and specialists whose enterprises use milking equipment of Belarusian manufacturers to increase the efficiency of its operation and explore new opportunities.

 

During the seminar, new software modules and additional features of the new software, the principles of the operation of various identification systems, the possibility of individual monitoring of animals were considered. The system of detection and optimization of the definition of sexual hunting for achieving high fertility rates, monitoring of ruminations, its practical application, introduction of veterinary events and their influence on the milking regime, and the basic requirements for the milking parlor maintenance were also discussed.

 

Oksana Shumakova, rector of Omsk State Agrarian University:

"Increasing the efficiency of dairy farming is one of the main tasks of the agro-industrial sector. All aspects are important here - care technologies, genetics, feeding, interregional cooperation. The use of efficient equipment is one of the key factors. The format of the event is two days. The first day was held on the platform of OmSAU, and tomorrow we will leave for Azovskoye JSC. Events of this format within OmSAU and Omsky Biocluster are planned throughout the year 2018."

 

Representatives of public authorities of Omsk region, scientists of the Omsk State Agrarian University, representatives of the business community took part in the seminar.
