On April 5, the Association for the Development of Clusters and Technology Parks of Russia in cooperation with the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation and the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation in the capital of the Republic of Mordovia, Saransk, will hold a business mission to study the practical aspects of the formation and operation of industrial technoparks. The event will be held with the support of the Government of the Republic of Mordovia.
The agenda includes tools for the implementation of the national project 'SMEs and Support for Individual Entrepreneurial Initiatives' through industrial technoparks. The Association will provide information on the best practices of the industrial technoparks, regulatory support for the creation and operation of industrial technoparks. The representative of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation will present the existing mechanisms for obtaining state support by residents of technology parks.
The participants of the business mission will learn the rules for the competitive selection of the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation for 2019 to allocate subsidies as part of the national project 'SMEs and Support for Individual Entrepreneurial Initiatives.' It is expected that the start of the competition will be given in May of this year. Thus, representatives of industrial technoparks will be able to learn about key stages, terms, criteria for participation in the competition, methods of selection and evaluation of applications, obligations of the region and the technopark management company for state support. These competencies will prepare the project for protection more thoroughly. It is expected that this year will receive about 30-40 applications from technology parks to participate in the competition of the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation.
The agenda also includes a meeting with the participation of the Head of the Republic of Mordovia, Vladimir Volkov, representatives of the Ministry of Economic Development and Industry and Trade, and Director of the Association for the Development of Clusters and Technology Parks of Russia, Andrey Shpilenko. The participants will be told about the High-Tech Technopark in the Republic of Mordovia, and will have an introductory tour. Mordovia Technopark will present its successful cases, including obtaining state subsidies.
