In May, experts from the Veterinary Expert Laboratory of the Omsk Reference Center of the Rosselkhoznadzor (Omsky Biocluster) successfully confirmed the high level of their qualifications by participating in the prestigious International Comparative Testing.
Participants needed to determine the number of enterococci in beef meat. Specialists coped with the task, and after the processing of the results, the Expert Veterinary Laboratory received a certificate of participation in the International Interlaboratory Comparative Testing. Information on the results of interlaboratory comparative trials is published on the official website of FAPAS.com (Food Analyzes Performance Assessment Scheme) - the largest and most comprehensive scheme of professional testing of food analysis laboratories. It was initiated in 1990 by the UK Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food. The scheme brings together over 2000 participants in more than 100 countries around the world.
