The Expert Veterinary Laboratory of the Omsk Reference Center of the Rosselkhoznadzor (Omsky Biocluster member) has received new equipment (CFX96 thermal cycler by Bio-Rad).
The equipment is designed to study samples of food products, raw materials, grain, seeds arriving at the laboratory. The CFX96 thermal cycler helps to identify genetically modified organisms (GMOs) in samples by real-time polymerase chain reaction (PCR) with fluorescence detection.
