Investments in Kazakhstan's agriculture grew by a third

The volume of investments in agriculture, forestry and fisheries of Kazakhstan in the first ten months of 2019 increased by 379.4 billion tenge ($ 974 million), which is 33.8% more than in the same period in 2018.

 

It is noted that now in the country's agricultural industry, 113 investment projects worth 4.4 trillion tenge ($ 11.4 billion) are at the development and implementation stage. A large role in the development of this sector of the economy is played by the Agrarian Credit Corporation. In 2018, the organization funded 86 projects worth 54.9 billion tenge ($ 143 million). The largest investment was made in greenhouse complexes - 14.3 billion tenge ($ 37 million).

 

Earlier, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan, Yermek Kosherbayev, said that the annual volume of foreign investment in the economy of the republic should reach $ 34 billion by 2025, which is 41.7% more than in 2018.
