Krasnoyarsk for the first time in Russia will support organic exporters

The Krasnoyarsk Territory became the third region after the Tomsk region and the Krasnodar Territory, in which specific government support measures in the field of organic agriculture were officially adopted and the first, which legally approved the support of organic exporters.

Agricultural producers certified according to international organic standards of the countries to which deliveries of organic products are planned, as well as to the Russian state standard, will be able to receive financial subsidies. The size of the subsidy is determined based on the size of the sown area. Also subject of subsidization is the cost of certification of organic products, which annually amount to RUR 150,000 ($ 2441,69) per farm. To this end, farmers must provide copies of contracts for certification of the conformity of the production of organic products in the field of crop production to the requirements of the country to which the supply is planned.
