The head of Titan Group Mikhail Sutyaginsky (one of the enterprises of Group - Titan-Agro LLC - is a member of Omsky Biocluster) made a presentation at the section of the Russian Investment Forum 'Business in the Regions. To Give a New Impetus' and also signed two strategic agreements. Forum is held in Sochi with the participation of the Prime Minister of the Government of the Russian Federation Dmitry Medvedev.
The theme of Mikhail Sutyaginsky's speech is 'New Industrial Models: Contract Manufacturing and Interregional Cooperation as an Instrument for Attracting Investments'. Director of the Association of Сlusters and Technology Parks, Andrey Shpilenko, moderated the section 'Business in the Regions: Give a New Impetus'.
Chairman of the Board of Directors of Titan Group JSC in his message spoke about the format of state support needed by industrial companies, for example, Mikhail Sutyaginsky noted the expediency of compensating part of the investment at the expense of future tax payments for the period of implementing joint projects, if a big business undertakes to create jobs and objects of infrastructure. In addition, the Titan head spoke about the experience of intercluster interaction of Omsk region with other regions, in particular, with the Republic of Bashkortostan.
Within the Forum, Titan will also conclude two strategic agreements. The Eurasian Development Bank and Titan Group will sign an Agreement of Intent on the Implementation of Investment Projects. The subject of this document is the pooling of resources and efforts to solve problems within the framework of mutually beneficial cooperation, including the production of new high-quality products; development of exports to world markets; import substitution; creation of world-class productions, which has no analogues in the countries of the Eurasian Economic Union. The second document will be signed with the State Corporation 'Bank for Development and Foreign Economic Affairs (Vnesheconombank)', and it concerns the project for the production of isopropyl alcohol. January 2018, a loan for its implementation was approved by the Expert Council of the Industrial Development Fund.
Mikhail Sutyaginsky will meet with the heads of the legislative and executive authorities of the regions, senators and deputies of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, as well as representatives of financial institutions, science and the business community to discuss the projects of Titan Group.
On the last day of the Forum there will be a discussion organized by the Association of Сlusters and Technology Parks, with the participation of the Government of Krasnodar Territory. Mikhail Sutyaginsky, invited to the meeting as an expert, will share his experience in implementing cluster projects, as well as his vision of the necessary format for supporting industrial companies.
