March 2, the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of Omsk region held a meeting of the expert commission to determine the compliance of the activities of organizations for breeding livestock located on the territory of Omsk region, the requirements for such type of organizations and their epizootic well-being on the issue of ensuring veterinary safety when imported to Omsk region biological pedigree material.
The Commission found that the activities of SIBAGROCOMPLEX-BIO LLC (member of Omsky Biocluster) fully comply with veterinary and sanitary standards, there are no violations. The commission decided to conduct an information campaign with specialists of enterprises of Omsk region on issues of document circulation and veterinary and sanitary requirements for both suppliers of sperm products and consumers. In case of disputes between the farms and the seed supplier, an additional agreement is recommended.
In pursuance of the decision of the Commission, the 'Genetics & Breeding of Cattle Practice' of Omsky Biocluster will carry out information activities on the issues of document circulation and compliance with established standards in the supply of genetic material. The closest of them is a webinar 'Observance of the Requirements of Veterinary Legislation in the Sale of Sperm Products.'
