Russian combines occupy 15% of the global market

Denis Manturov, the head of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia, during his speech in the Federation Council (the Russian parliament upper chamber) said that the Ministry does not plan to initiate changes to the mechanism for subsidizing discounts on Russian agricultural equipment under Resolution No. 1432. This decision is explained by the high efficiency of the program.

According to the Minister, the share of domestic products in the domestic market at the start of the program to support Russian machine builders was 24%. "Today, the share of Russian manufacturers in 2018 is 60%," Denis Manturov said.

The Rosspetsmash Association notes, the Russian agricultural equipment sales on the domestic market after the start of Resolution No. 1432 have been growing for six years in a row. In 2018, the amount of sales amounted to 100.6 billion RUR ($ 1.56 billion), which is 2.1 times more than in 2015. The high level of competitiveness of domestic agricultural machinery is indicated by the record export volume in Russian history. So, last year, the export of agricultural machinery exceeded 11 billion RUR ($ 170.5 million), which is 40% more than in 2017. The countries of the CIS, European Union, Mongolia, Canada are the main export destinations. In total, last year export deliveries covered 35 countries.
