OmSAU got access to Scopus and Web of Science

As part of the national subscription, by decision and with the financial support of the Ministry of Education and Science, the Omsk State Agrarian University (member of Omsky Biocluster) is granted access to the database of international indexes of scientific citation Scopus and Web of Science.

 

Scopus is the largest single database of abstracts and citations of peer-reviewed scientific literature with internal tools for monitoring, analyzing and visualizing scientific research data. The Scopus database provides the most comprehensive overview of the world's scientific information in the field of natural, technical sciences, medicine, as well as social and human sciences, allowing you to access key world studies and trends in areas of interest to you. Today, Scopus data are recognized by the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation as criteria for the all-Russian system for evaluating the effectiveness of higher education institutions, and are also used to compile the world's largest academic rankings: QS World University Rankings, Times Higher Education (THE) World University Rankings and etc.

 

Web of Science is a multidisciplinary abstract-bibliographic database created at the Institute for Scientific Information (ISI). It is presented on the Web of Knowledge platform from Clarivate Analytics (formerly Thomson Reuters). Web of Science is the 'gold standard' of the scientific journals database used by more than 5,000 organizations in one hundred countries of the world. Careful selection of journals in the database is conducted for several decades.

 

You can use the databases in the Scientific Agricultural Library of OmSAU and from the University's local network at the following addresses: https://www.scopus.com/home.uri (Scopus) and http://webofscience.com (Web of Science), the login and password is not required for access.
