MSUTM and the University of Food Technologies - Plovdiv became partners

The international technical fair ITF 2019 is taking place in the Bulgarian Plovdiv these days. The Russian Federation is a partner country in the field of scientific, technical, innovative and industrial cooperation. The event is attended by about 600 companies from 34 countries. One of the results of the fair was the signing of a collaboration agreement between Razumovsky's Moscow State University of Technology and Management (Omsky Biocluster member) and the University of Food Technology - Plovdiv (Bulgaria).

 

The forum’s business program includes government officials, representatives of leading universities, scientific and industrial organizations. The Russian delegation team included the rector of Razumovsky's Moscow State University of Technology and Management Valentina Ivanova.

 

MSUTM Rector Valentina Ivanova and Rector of the University of Plovdiv Kolyo Dinkov at the opening of the fair signed a collaboration agreement in the presence of Russian Deputy Minister of Science and Higher Education Natalia Bocharova and Russian Ambassador to Bulgaria Anatoly Makarov. As a result of the agreements, a double diploma program will be implemented, the work of summer and winter schools will open. A working group is created to achieve the intended goals. She will be engaged in reconciliation of curricula, clarification of financial issues, development of a 'road map'.

 

"For eight years, our university has been interacting with colleagues from Plovdiv University. This is an effective collaboration: departments of the technological profile of nutrition, dietetics, winemaking are working. Technologies for baking, pasta, and confectionery are being developed. We hold practical binary conferences," commented Valentina Ivanova. In the productive atmosphere of the fair, university heads paid special attention, including to the agreement on the student recruitment program and the project of international academic mobility. MSUTM presented a stand devoted to innovative technologies in the field of food and processing industry.
