Agronomical Forum 2018: OmSAU

Scientists of the Omsk State Agrarian University (member of Omsky Biocluster) took an active part in the Omsk Regional Agronomical Forum (February 15, Congress Hall).

 

The scientists of OmSAU made scientific and informational reports in the Agriculture Section and Fodder Production Section: Alexander Chursin, head of the educational and research laboratory of selection and seed-growing of field crops (Varieties of Spring Soft Wheat of Breeding by OmSAU), Natalia Goman, dean of the Faculty of Agrochemistry, Soil Science, Ecology, Environmental Engineering and Water Use, Ph.D. Sciences (The Use of Livestock Waste in Agriculture), Marat Shayakhmetov, Associate Professor, Department of Agrochemistry and Soil Science, Faculty of Agrochemistry, Soil Science, Ecology, Environmental Management and Water Use, Ph.D. Sciences (Development and Introduction of Technology for Commissioning Unused Land in Omsk region), Alena Krasovskaya, Associate Professor of the Agronomy and Agroengineering Department of the Tarsky Branch of OmSAU, Ph.D. Sciences (Cultivation of High-Yield Crops (rapeseed, olive oil, soybean, lentils) in the northern regions of Omsk region), Alexey Gayvas, Dean of the Agrotechnological Faculty, Ph.D. Sciences (Technology of Grain Flattening for Feeding Cattle in Omsk region), Elena Chaunina, head of the department of zootechny of the faculty of zootechny, commodity science and standardization, Ph.D. Sciences (Technology of Harvesting Silage from Sun-Dried Grass in Omsk region).

 

The plenary part of the meeting was chaired by the First Deputy Chairman of the Government of Omsk region Valery Boyko. Vitaly Aleshchenko, pro-rector on scientific work of OmSAU, Doctor of Economics, delivered a report at the plenary session (Complex System of Management of Soil Fertility in Plant Growing). The results of research on the market situation of cereals, legumes and industrial crops, which were conducted by the Information and Consulting Center of OmSAU, were highlighted by Dmitry Nardin, head of the scientific department, Ph.D. Sciences.

 

The scientists of OmSAU also held working meetings with specialists of farms of Omsk region at the exhibition site of the University in the Expocenter.
