Domestic agricultural equipment occupied 60% of the Russian market

Deputy Director of the Rosspetsmash Association (the Russian Association of Manufacturers of Purpose-Built Machinery and Equipment) Denis Maksimkin at the plenary session of the Agro-Industrial Forum, which was organized as part of the international exhibition AgroComplex-2019, said that the Russian agricultural equipment took 60% of the Russian market.

Denis Maksimkin in his speech noted that Russian agricultural equipment manufacturers promptly respond to the farmers need to update the machine and tractor fleet. The shipments volume of domestic agricultural machinery in Russia in 2018 amounted to 100.6 billion RUR ($ 1.54 billion), which is 2.1 times more than in 2015.

The share of Russian factories in the domestic market over the same period increased from 40 to 60%. Enterprises significantly increase investment in R & D, especially in the machinery and equipment sectors that are not produced in the Russian Federation. More and more intelligent domestic equipment is working in the countryside.
