Sovecon: world prices for grain will decrease

World prices for grain will decrease, a new crop will be sold at $ 200 per ton, the head of Sovecon Analytical Center Andrei Sizov said. Now the world prices are about $ 213 per ton.

 

Domestic prices on the Russian grain market so far are changing in different directions. According to the National Union of Grain Producers, wheat of grade 3 and 4 is slightly more expensive (from 25 to 50 rubles per ton, $ 0.4 - $ 0.8) in the southern agrarian triangle. The fall in prices is felt for fodder wheat and barley - at 200 - 225 rubles per ton ($ 3.2 - $ 3.6).
