It is proposed to create Competence Centers in the Russian regions

The Association of Clusters and Technology Parks of Russia, together with the Federal Institute of Industrial Property, has initiated the creation of Competence Centers in Russian regions, whose work will be aimed at assessing intellectual property, legal support and technology transfer to international markets. It is expected that such Centers will be based in technoparks, where the necessary infrastructure already exists.

 

The proposal was supported by the participants of the panel discussion 'Acceleration of the Innovative Technological Development of the Company: Best Practices' at the X-th international industrial exhibition Innoprom in Yekaterinburg. The Association of Clusters and Technology Parks of Russia acted as a co-organizer of the panel discussion.This tool will contribute to the implementation of national projects, import substitution programs and diversification of the defense industry, the execution of Vladimir Putin’s May decrees. The centers will operate in areas such as analyzing technological and business consulting tools; evaluation of investment projects, identification of promising areas of investment; scouting and transfer of world technologies with the introduction of cooperative technological chains; marketing strategy development and financial consulting; other tools that will allow in practice the implementation of leading Russian and foreign R & D.
