Q3: Results of quarantine phytosanitary examinations

For the Q3 2019, the Laboratory of Quarantine Phytosanitary Examinations of the Omsk Reference Center of the Rosselkhoznadzor (Omsky Biocluster member) analyzed 6050 samples, of which 1988 as part of the state task. In total, experts conducted 12028 examinations.

 

As a result, in 548 cases, experts identified 13 types of quarantine objects: Western flower thrips, San Jose scale, Eastern codling moth, peach codling moth, dodder, common ragweed, creeping mustard, three-flowered nightshade, golden potato nematode, Siberian silkworm, black pine sawyer beetle and spruce barbel. Also, experts conducted 2167 visual examinations and issued 5772 conclusions about the quarantine phytosanitary condition.
