WATTPoultry International (USA) ranked the world's 50 largest broiler meat producers in 2020. The rating also includes Russian poultry farms.
The three leaders include: JBS (Brazil), Tyson Foods (USA) and another Brazilian company BRF. Three Russian companies were also included in the rating: Cherkizovo (28th place), Resurs (31st place) and Prioskolye (49th place).
According to experts, despite the large gap from the world market leaders in terms of capacity, our industry, in terms of technology and quality, is in no way inferior to the world leaders. The difference is that we have higher growing costs due to the ban on cheap GMO feed. And the second difference is the lack of market consolidation, in contrast to the markets of Brazil, the USA, Thailand, France and Germany.
