January 16, the head of 'Genetics & Breeding of Cattle' Practice of Omsky Biocluster Anatoly Shulakov met with the Chairman of the Sibiryak Company (Moskalensky district of Omsk region) Alexander Shachnev (within the Effective Livestock Program). The subject of discussion: the issues of increasing the economic efficiency of dairy cattle breeding in modern conditions.
An agreement has been reached to conduct scientific and production experience on the creation of highly effective animals based on livestock available in the economy through a specially developed selection program using the best genetics. The experiment will be conducted under the supervision of specialists from the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of Omsk region. Involvement of representatives of science will guarantee the objectivity of the results obtained, which at each stage will be covered and demonstrated in open access.
