In 2019, Rusagro plans to commission a granary in the Mikhailovsky District of Primorye as part of an investment project. According to the executive director of Rusagro-Primorye LLC Sergey Lysenko, the construction of buildings and infrastructure is underway.
The project envisages the construction of a granary with a capacity of 120,000 tons of grain and a grain area of 200,000 tons.
At the same time, the company which is a resident of the Mikhailovsky Territory of Advanced Development (a type of special status zone) is building two pig farms. The launch is scheduled for November 2019 and January 2020, respectively. These are two of six future pig farms, which will correspond to the maximum degree of biological safety, IVth compartment. Rusagro will also build a breeding farm with a total capacity of 75,000 tons of pork in live weight per year (610,000 heads), animal feed production for 300,000 tons of feed per year and slaughter.
