The Laboratory of Quarantine Phytosanitary Examinations of the Omsk Reference Center of the Rosselkhoznadzor (Omsky Biocluster member) received 21 samples of adult insects found during the inspection of regulated products.
Insects were found in the seedlings of small-flowered marigolds and potted gerbera plants of Russian origin. A dangerous pest - Western (Californian) flower thrips - has been identified. Information about the results of the examinations were sent to the Rosselkhoznadzor (Omsk Branch).
