The General Meeting of the Association of Clusters and Technology Parks will be held on August 21. On this day, the opening of the International Military Technical Forum 'Army - 2018' will take place on the base of Patriot Conference & Exhibition Center. The Association is also the co-organizer of the forum business program. Members of the Association from more than thirty regions of Russia will take part in the General Meeting.
The meeting agenda includes the approval of the new name of the Association of Clusters and Technology Parks in connection with the use of the official name 'Russia' in the Association name. It should be recalled that in May, by the order of the Ministry of Justice of the Russian Federation allowed to use the words 'Russia' or 'Russian Federation' in the Association of Clusters and Technology Parks name. Also, the agenda includes other issues: the report for the past year, the approval of the main line of activity for the upcoming period and the admission of new members to the Association.
The Association of Clusters and Technology Parks of Russia is a regular partner in organizing the business agenda of the International Military Technical Forum 'Army-2018'. At the forthcoming Forum, the Association, with the participation of industry and government experts, will continue to work on methodological and expert support for enterprises of the Russian defense industry. The 'Industrial Clusters as a Tool for Diversifying the Enterprises of the Defense Industry' Roundtable Discussions, organized by the Association, will kick off the business part of the Forum agenda, August 21.
On August 22 and 23 the Association will organize educational and practical-oriented events within the framework of the special exposition 'Innovation Club'. The format provides for discussion and application of high-tech projects in industrial clusters and technology parks.
