Moscow region compensates for up to 80% of the cost of dairy farm creating

The Moscow region authorities are ready to provide up to 80% of the cost of dairy farm creating. This was announced by Minister of Agriculture and Food of the region Andrei Razin.

 

"The level of state participation in several programs has been increased this year. Thus, farmers can cover up to 80% of the cost of a dairy farm project with a grant," Andrei Razin said at a congress of Moscow region farmers. The Minister noted that the farmer will be able to receive 43 million RUR ($ 0.65 million) for the implementation of such a project. "In 2018, more than 1.5 thousand new livestock places appeared in the Moscow region as part of projects to create dairy farms," Andrei Razin added.

 

The minister also announced the appearance in the middle of the year of new state support tools. "Now we can accurately announce them: so, we will have a new form of support for agricultural start-ups," Andrei Razin said. According to the minister, such startups are planning to provide support in the amount of 3 million RUR. It is also possible to establish several tools to support agricultural cooperatives. "We will subsidize cooperatives with up to 50% of the cost of acquiring agricultural machinery and animals," Andrei Razin noted. In addition, it is planned to introduce compensation for 15% of the value of products shipped by the cooperative to the distribution network.
