Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a decree appointing Alexey Gordeyev Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation for Agriculture.
Earlier (1999 - 2009), Alexey Gordeyev was already the head of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation. From 2009 to 2017 he was Governor of Voronezh region, in 2017 - 2018 he served as Presidential Envoy to the Central Federal District.
