According to global forecasts of FAO and USDA, world demand for pork in 2018 will reach 119.2 million tons. This is 2 million tons more than in 2017.
In China, demand will reach 56.1 million tons, in the US - 9.9 million tons, in Germany - 4 million tons, in Russia - 3.3 million tons. The top ten consumers also include Brazil, Vietnam, Japan, Mexico, South Korea and the Philippines.
