Last year, exports of agricultural products from Russia exceeded $ 20.7 billion (+ 21.1% by 2016). The share of food products and agricultural raw materials in the commodity structure of Russian exports was 5.8%, the press service of the Ministry of Agriculture reports with reference to customs data.
Pork exports increased by 44.7% (27.3 thousand tons), poultry meat (163.3 thousand tons) by 42%. The main commodity position in the structure of exports of agricultural products (in value terms) is grain crops (36.4%, including wheat - 28%).
