The budget will allocate 5 billion RUR to create food base

The Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation, together with the Ministry of Education and Science and the Russian Academy of Sciences, developed a draft subprogram 'Development of the Production of Feed and Feed Additives for Animals' within the Federal Scientific and Technical Program (FSTP) of agricultural development in the Russian Federation for 2017-2025.

 

"The new subprogram is aimed at creating a solid feed base for livestock through the rational use of feed resources, the use of modern highly efficient technologies for their processing, production and use of the most important for import substitution products - amino acids, vitamins, enzymes, mineral supplements," the press service Ministry of Agriculture of Russia said. The deadline for the implementation of the subprogram is 2025, the envisaged amount of funding from the federal budget is more than 5 billion RUR ($ 78.19 million).

 

Now this project has been submitted to the Council for the FSTP Implementation, the report noted. It is expected that the subprogramme will be approved in the first half of this year, after which the Ministry of Agriculture will begin the selection of complex technical projects for its implementation.
