The Department of Seed Growing and Plant Protection of Omsk Reference Center of Rosselkhoznadzor (member of Omsky Biocluster) analyzed 7857 samples for the first half of 2018, with which 19350 studies were carried out.
2057 consignments of seeds weighing 190,562 centners were examined for sowing qualities, of which 7440 samples were taken in 422 different farms in Omsk region. In total, according to the results of tests conducted on the quality of seeds, 380 samples from 238 batches with a weight of 102410 centners did not meet the standards for various indicators.
During the certification of seeds and planting material, 400 certificates of conformity were issued in the system of voluntary certification SemStandart. 417 samples were selected in the field of plant protection, 2,485 studies were carried out. Based on the results of the phytopathological analysis of the seeds, recommendations for presowing work were given.
