Russia increased the export of agricultural machinery in the first half of this year by 57% to 6.6b RUR ($ 103.96m). The main buyers of Russian tractors and combines are the CIS countries, Canada, Australia, Poland and Germany. In addition, Russia began exporting agricultural machinery to Afghanistan, South Africa and Syria.
Foreign buyers pay special attention to tractors, sowing, tillage and harvesting equipment. According to experts, the growth in the supply of Russian equipment is due to state support and, first of all, subsidizing part of the costs of transporting products and its certification in foreign markets. The Ministry of Industry and Trade predicts that the export of agricultural machinery in 2018 will amount to 10b RUR ($ 157.51m).
Note that the enterprises of Omsky Biocluster (Saturn-Agro Research and Production Enterprise LLC and Omsk Experimental Plant FSUE) also supply their products abroad.
