July 12, the Trade and Economic Mission of Omsk officials and business in Petropavlovsk (the Republic of Kazakhstan) finished its work. The next project within the development of Russian-Kazakh cooperation was organized by the Omsk City Administration, the Omsk Chamber of Commerce and Industry (member of Omsky Biocluster) and the Regional Chamber of Entrepreneurs of North-Kazakhstan region.
The Omsk business delegation included representatives of enterprises and institutions of various fields of activity, including the agricultural machinery industry.
The business program of the visit included:
- Presentation of the economic and investment potential of Omsk and North-Kazakhstan region, Omsk companies participating in the mission;
- Exchange of contacts (direct business negotiations in B2B, B2G format between Omsk and Kazakh companies, business and government representatives);
- Meeting of the Omsk delegation with the Deputy Akim of North-Kazakhstan region;
- Visit to the enterprise for the production of agricultural sprayers AVAGRO LLC (city of Petropavlovsk).
Representatives of Omsk companies also visited a number of Petropavlovsk companies and institutions in accordance with their field of activity under an individual program.
About 50 Kazakh companies, representatives of the Akimat of North-Kazakhstan region and the Akimat of the city of Petropavlovsk became participants in B2B and B2G communications with Omsk companies. About 60 meetings were held.
The delegation of officials and business of North-Kazakhstan region plans to visit Omsk region in August 2018 in order to participate in the Wealth of Eurasia Exhibition.
