Omsk companies update the fleet of agricultural equipment

On August 16, representatives of government, non-profit organizations, heads of agricultural companies and banks discussed issues of technical re-equipment of agricultural enterprises. The meeting was organized by the Public Chamber of the Omsk region, the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Omsk region.

The energy capacity per 100 hectares of arable land in the Omsk region continues to grow. And, first of all, this is due to the rejection of ineffective tools and machines in favor of acquiring new energy-armed tractors and combines. Every year, agrarians of the Omsk region spend up to RUR 3 billion ($ 45.46 million) on the purchase of agricultural equipment. A resolution of the Government of the Omsk region is in force in the region, providing for the provision of subsidies from the regional budget for the reimbursement of part of the costs of ensuring the technical and technological modernization of agricultural production. Now, over RUR 250 million ($ 3.79 million) have already been allocated as part of subsidies.

The director of the Omsk regional branch of Rosselkhozbank JSC Lev Yaneev (Omsky Biocluster member) spoke about preferential subsidies to farmers for the purchase of modernized agricultural machinery, seasonal and field work. Reasonable credit policy of a number of farms allowed the construction of modern livestock farms with milking equipment.

The round table also discussed topics of relevance of the federal program for subsidizing agricultural machinery manufacturers, on a system for monitoring agricultural lands for emergencies.
