The Gorbatov's All-Russian Meat Research Institute (VNIIMP) has developed a trademark to confirm the consistently high quality of products made from meat.
The right to use the trademark 'Quality Standard. Verified by the VNIIMP' will be awarded to the winners of the annual VNIIMP and producers of the best meat products based on the results of the annual examination of the authorized tasting commission. Quality Standard Trademark was established to identify high-quality products in the vast assortment that Russian meat industry enterprises offer.
VNIIMP specialists intend to allocate the best samples, continuously monitor their quality level and promptly bring reliable information to the consumer about the merits of domestic meat products. The mandatory conditions for applicants include consistently high indicators of product quality and safety, the availability of production control programs and high sanitary and hygienic indicators at all stages of the production process. The right to use the Quality Standard Trademark for Russian manufacturers is an additional motivation to produce products that meet high quality standards. Thus, the new trademark will become an indicator of the main competitive advantage.
The basis for obtaining the right to label products with the Quality StandardTrademark by leading companies in the sector is to overcome four stages: examination of documentation of a producer of high quality meat products; examination of the manufacturer; examination of high-quality meat products; registration of a sublicense agreement on a trademark with Rospatent.
