The results of the UMNIK contest for 2018 have been summed up. The event is organized by the The Foundation for Assistance to Small Innovative Enterprises in Science and Technology (Omsky Biocluster partner). Young researchers from 18 to 30 years old competed for receiving a grant in the amount of 500,000 RUR ($ 7,777) and the implementation of an innovative project.
The winners in the Omsk region were 15 contestants from 65 participants, the Omsk State Agrarian University (Omsky Biocluster member) in the unofficial 'medal standings' took third place.
The winners were students - residents of the OmSAU business incubator, Alexander Fedorovsky (project for Digital Technologies) and Anton Zimin (project for Resource Saving Energy).
