OmSAU and Warsaw University of Life Sciences strengthen collaboration

On May 12 - 16, guests of the Warsaw University of Life Sciences - associate professors of the Econometrics and Statistics Department Luisa Ochnio and Grzegorz Kosela visited the Faculty of Economics of the Omsk State Agrarian University (Omsky Biocluster member).

 

 

Erasmus + is a program of the European Union aimed at supporting collaboration in the sector of higher education, vocational training, support for youth and sports, which has been implemented in Omsk State Agrarian University since the early 2000s. As part of this international mobility program, our university was visited by honorary guests from Poland - associate professors of the Department of Econometrics and Statistics of the Faculty of Applied Informatics and Mathematics of the Warsaw University of Life Sciences Louisa Ohnio and Grzegorz Kosela with the aim of strengthening and further developing international scientific and academic relations.

 

Louisa Ochnio and Grzegorz Kosela conducted interesting and useful practical exercises on preliminary processing and formatting of data for further statistical research at the site of the Scientific Agricultural Library of Omsk State Agrarian University. Second and third year undergraduate students of the Chair of Economics, Accounting and Financial Control and the Chair of Management and Marketing learned a lot of interesting nuances. Also, guests of the Omsk State Agrarian University agreed with the department of international relations of the university to continue the international collaboration.
