August 17, a meeting of the Omsk Regional Branch of Business Russia (OmskDeloRos) was held. The members of the Council agreed before the end of this year to develop and approve a new organizational structure for the regional branch, an agenda for the Q4 2018 and 2019.
OmskDeloRos believes the creation of cluster policy tools in Omsk region is one of the head lines of their activities. Omsky Biocluster Association as a specialized organization of the Agrobiotechnological Industrial Cluster of Omsk Region has proposed the adoption of the Regional Cluster Policy Concept in Omsk region. Igor Antropenko, chairman of OmskDeloRos, a deputy of the Legislative Assembly of Omsk region:
"Omsk Regional Branch of Business Russia will focus its efforts on developing tools that can systematically affect the improvement of investment climate in the region. I'm not just talking about attracting investors from the outside, let's not forget about those entrepreneurs who already conduct their business in the region. Together with the authorities, we need to determine the points of concentration of resources, which projects over the next five years are really important for Omsk region. The Regional Cluster Policy Concept can be considered as a platform for building a system of public-private partnership. Everyone should understand what the budget is doing, what obligations entrepreneurs undertake."
