The Ministry of Agriculture of Russia proposes to significantly increase export deliveries of finished products, which will help achieve the goal of increasing the volume of agricultural exports to $ 45bn by 2024, set in the May decree of President Vladimir Putin.
The Ministry of Agriculture of Russia estimated that it is necessary to increase the export of finished products to other countries by more than 40 million tons. By October 1, the Ministry will submit to the government a federal project 'Export of Agricultural Products', which will be included in the national program 'International Cooperation & Export.' The project will include a whole range of activities aimed at increasing exports.
The Ministry of Agriculture defined four goals. First, it is necessary to organize the production of qualitatively new products with greater added value. We are talking about confectionery and sausage products, drinks, products of deep grain processing. Secondly, the creation of an export-oriented logistics infrastructure will require the construction of new distribution centers, the introduction of digital technologies, and the increase of port and transshipment capacities. At the same time, it is planned to abolish a number of veterinary and phytosanitary restrictions and develop support for domestic products in foreign markets.
